Installed electrical contacts on the inboard/outboard forward folding ribs. These would be used for wingtip lights/stobes. Eventually I plan to install AVEO Powerburst LED position light/strobe assemblies. The four contacts provide light, strobe, sync and ground wire functions. No shield is needed on the LED assemblies.
The contacts are " Painless Jamb Tac" wireless connectors, part number 40024. The contacts are about 8mm (.315") in diameter. The holes in the doubler/rib were enlarged to 13/32" (.406") for clearance between the doubler and contacts due to any side movement of the spring loaded contacts. I used one existing rivet hole for one mounting screw, another rivet hole for one of the contacts, and added an additional hole for the second mounting screw.
Installed the CCP-42 rivets in the LH outbrd aft doubler/rib.
Installed three spare contacts (Painless 40023) in the LH aft outboard doubler/rib for future use (electric trim tab/autopilot, etc).
